Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Category Manager – Raw Material (Level 2) to join the Material and Standards Contracts Sourcing and Category Management team in Everett, Washington. Have you ever wondered what it's like to manage your own category or drive projects that enable value to Boeing's bottom line? If so, look no further, Materials and Standards is the place to be! This is a multifaceted role that requires solid understanding of how Boeing purchases, manages consumes and distributes Raw Material across the enterprise as well as the life cycle of the material. The ideal candidate will communicate at all levels and make presentations to various audiences. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes, and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
2+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, strategic sourcing and/or Category Management practices and processes1+ years of experience building and using industry knowledge for planning and performance accomplishment- including knowledge of competition and strategic partners
Experience
2+ years of experience in collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data (e.g. financial, market, customer, competitor, economic and technology analysis)1+ years of experience working in a lead role responsible for planning, organizing, and leading personnel to solve complex technical problems
