Asst Dir, Graduate And Prof Schools Annual Giving

Job Description

The Yale Alumni Fund is seeking an Assistant Director to elevate fundraising and volunteer management efforts of Yale’s Graduate and Professional Schools annual giving programs. As Assistant Director, you will work as a frontline fundraiser on the annual giving team and partner with a substantial group of dedicated volunteers to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni to drive engagement and expand broad-based donor support in strategic ways to provide a sustainable source of revenue in support of Yale’s mission. In addition, the assistant director will support annual fund professional school colleagues and engage with graduate students to educate them about the Yale Alumni Fund. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in project management while overseeing multiple priorities and be familiar with relational databases.

Responsibilities + Skills

Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite tools and the willingness to learn new online tools and database programs as needed.

Education

Outgoing personality and ability to initiate and enjoy direct communication with alumni; customer-service orientation. Professionalism, maturity, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
