Job Description
The School of Politics and Global Studies seeks a highly motivated, organized Business Operations Specialist to join our Business Operations team. Under the direct supervision of the Business Operations Manager, this position will manage the SPGS front desk, travel, inventory control, supply orders, department time, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of ASU business policies and procedures, and ensure high quality service is delivered to internal and external customers. The duties require a high level of attention to detail, initiative, organization, discretion and self-management.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Seven (7) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Experience
Experience using Concur (travel system), WorkDay (financial system), PeopleSoft and Kenexa/BrassRing (HR systems), Microsoft Office, Zoom, Adobe Pro and various other softwares
