Cloud Engineer (contract)

Job Description

Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role. Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Advanced Information Technologist – Cloud Engineer to join our growing Data Analytics Engineering & Integration team in Ridley Park, PA; Seattle, WA; or Hazelwood, MO. This team is tasked with transforming the way BDS data is sourced, managed, and utilized to unlock insights to drive business growth and optimization. The team supports data needs for internal stakeholders, across BDS business programs and functions, and is tasked with utilizing data to inform and improve the full lifecycle of BDS products. In this role, you will be a thought leader in how to design, implement, manage, and scale data pipelines in support of the BDS Data Analytics Platform leveraging modern cloud architecture design, hybrid cloud technologies, data migration technologies, and others. You will be responsible for crafting data pipelines and deploying them in a cloud infrastructure.

Education

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Experience

5+ years of experience in cloud computing and infrastructure management.Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).3+ years of experience moving applications to Docker and Kubernetes or managing applications in Docker and Kubernetes
