Job Description
Plans, develops, and produces creative, high-quality and cost effective communications to help Arizona PBS grow and diversity its audience, using multiple platforms and tools (e.g., e-newsletters, print, press releases, and web). Participates in strategic communications planning for station projects and initiatives. Interfaces with and conducts regular meetings with colleagues across the station to ensure effective communications strategies are being utilized to promote Arizona PBS’ various projects and initiatives. Works with the rest of the Brand Engagement and Marketing team to develop and uphold the Arizona PBS writing style guidelines in an effort to ensure consistent messaging and tone across various platforms.Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, Education or a related field AND three (3) years of related work experience in the development of comprehensive and creative communication; OR seven (7) years of related work experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that verify mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six (6) months of experience.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, Education or a related field AND three (3) years of related work experience in the development of comprehensive and creative communication; OR seven (7) years of related work experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
