Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes has an exciting opportunity for a Crater A to join our team in Everett, WA. Workers in this position lead, work with and assign work to lower graded employees, who operate a variety of wood working equipment to fabricate and assemble standard/non-standard boxes and crates, used in shipping and storing equipment, tools and aerospace components. Position Responsibilities:Review work load, prioritize jobs, and assign work to the crew based on schedule and customer requirements.Separate out priority jobs to be worked first and delegate work to the crew based on shipping requirements.Monitor flow of freight by ensuring processes are completed properly, organizing freight and separating per shop requirements.Troubleshoot problems and develop plans to resolve crating/shipping issues and notify appropriate personnel. 

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Perform/assist in using various types of wood working equipment/tools (e.g., Table Saw, Miter Saw, pneumatic nailer/stapler guns, wrenches, sander) in building wooden crates/boxes.

Experience

Experience with Shipping & Receiving, along with material storage, record keeping and shop floor knowledge of material handling.
