Fabrication Specialist (contract)

Job Description

Regular and predictable attendance is required. Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations. Prepares aircraft parts for painting. Makes necessary patterns, performs layout and applies prescribed primers, paints and finishes. Performs machine set-up, machining and fabricating of sheet metal and extrusion. Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components. Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products. Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests. Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks. Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements. Hard Skills -Experience with hand tools preferredFamiliar with blueprint interpretationAssembly experience preferredComposite material experience (fabrication and assembly) preferredLooking for positive team members who enjoy working in a collaborative environmentSuccessful candidates will be building commercial aerospace products with cutting edge technology and a great team.
