Job Description
Position Focus:Reporting to the Assistant Director, Faculty Affairs, and working closely with the Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs, provide high-level administrative and human resources support to the Dean’s Office team managing faculty affairs processes and communications for the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). Processes include but are not limited to, appointments and reappointments, promotion and tenure, faculty searches and hiring, onboarding and orientation, leaves, and annual reporting.
Responsibilities + Skills
Maintain and update SEAS procedural documentation. Participate in ongoing assessment of practices and procedures, and make recommendations for process improvements for efficiency.
Education
Process new hire paperwork for faculty appointments. Manage NETID, relocation authorization form, and initial onboarding, coordinating with department staff to ensure a smooth and consistent experience across departments.
