Posting Summary:The Office of Institutional Advancement is seeking a part-time Assistant who must be eligible for federal work study funding (approved via the Teachers College Office of Financial Aid). The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, detail-focused individual eager to assist with general administrative activities in support of a fun-loving, hard-working team. The office of Institutional Advancement consists of the Fundraising, Communications, Alumni Relations, Digital, Design, and Advancement Services Teams, and we work closely with faculty, students, donors and staff on day-to-day tasks (such as "electronic filing" of documents, event preparations, general office support) as well as a variety of special projects. Our preference is for a candidate able to work on campus on Mondays between 9am and 5pm, additional work hours are negotiable.Job Summary/Basic Function:The Institutional Advancement Assistant will primarily be responsible for performing academically relevant (when possible) basic level administrative tasks and contributing to special projects under the direction of their supervisor.
