Manufacturing Planner 4 (contract)

Job Description

ResponsibilitiesPlan and lead department/organization processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations.Develop and plan manufacturing concepts and strategies to align with business objectives.Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports.Lead integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.Develop complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering needs.Manage tooling from initial design to end-of-use disposition.Lead investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing-related issues.Lead teams in performing producibility assessments of design concepts.Support enterprise-level benchmarking to incorporate best practices.Lead the development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to meet delivery commitments.Develop scheduling templates for use by others.Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under minimal direction.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
