The Boeing Company’s Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) organization Specialized Infrastructure Operations group is currently seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join the team in Herndon, VA. The Senior System Administrator will handle system administration tasks, including infrastructure management, information security, software installation, and configuration control. This role involves creating innovative solutions to technical challenges, providing system support with modern tools, and overseeing the design and performance of computing systems for effective capacity planning and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or agreed to enter a Continuous Vetting program such that 5 year updates are no longer required
Experience
5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadershipPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
