The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.  Position SummarySeeking a part-time Short-term Casual to assist with various research protocols in my lab. In their role, the successful candidate will be required to help the PI of several current studies as well as assist in initiating new studies. This may include any aspect of study start-up, recruitment and enrollment, maintaining study documents, registering new trials on clinicaltrials.gov, and communicating effectively with other members of the research team. Familiarity with SPSS, REDCap, and RASCAL are all strengths for this role. ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with administering ongoing research studies, including maintaining updated IRB applications, programming in REDCap, scheduling participants for studies, maintaining and updating data bases, analyzing data, and assisting in manuscript preparation. Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, biostatistics or related field desired. Preferred QualificationsExperience in human subjects research is preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / VeteranColumbia University is committed to the hiring of qualified local residents.Show less
