The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.   Position SummaryA position is immediately available for a part-time candidate to focus on research in lung disease and lung biology to understand the mechanisms of tissue injury. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and organize media and sterile solutionsPerform Elisa assays, prepare and analyze dataPrepare PCR samples for sequencingAnalyze the sequencing reportPreform screening by PCR for transgenic miceIsolation of DNA and mRNA from fresh tissue. Maintain organization of tissue samplesPerform PCR and RT-PCRPerform basic office tasks such as faxing, scanning, ordering and answering messagesOther duties as required in the performance of activities described above 

Responsibilities + Skills

Applicant must be able to develop and learn new techniques as required for these studies

Education

Bachelor's degree requiredAbility to work with supervision
