P-8A Project Management Specialist

Job Description

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level or Experienced (Level 3 or 4) Project Management Specialist to join the P-8A Program Team located in Kent, WA. This position will focus on supporting the P-8A Development Program. This role’s responsibilities will span across multiple high visibility projects such as Increment 3 Block 2 Platform Integration, Advanced Survivability Pod, and IDIQ Software Sustainment programs, to name a few. This role will work closely with software and systems engineering teams to support the planning of projects, monitoring, and driving project progress while ensuring roadblocks are removed, and risks are mitigated. Position Responsibilities:Supports the development of the program architecture and top-level plans for a programFacilitates the resolution of program issuesSupports the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metricsIntegrates the implementation of the Program Management Best PracticesImplements customer and program communication and contact plansCreates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project 

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Experience with JIRA Software projects and Kanban Boards3+ years of years of experience in leading both governance and delivery programs/projects in various Program Management Lifecycle (PMLC), transformation and delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Six Sigma)
