Posting SummaryRutgers University- Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a PreCollege Instructor for the Center for PreCollege programs. The PreCollege Instructor reports to the Director and Associate Dean for the Center for Precollege Programs.This position is responsible for and not limited to the following:Create and facilitate academic courses for middle and high school studentsProvide STEM instruction for grades 6 -12 based on program school and Saturday Academy schedulesCollaborate with colleagues on course curriculum to enhance student learning and meet program objectivesPlan and provide post-secondary/ college readiness preparation workshopsCoordinate dual enrollments PIM classesSupervise college mentors and afternoon tutorsFacilitate mentoring activitiesOther duties as assigned
