Position Summary: The Strategy and Engagement team is looking for a Principal Associate, Market Research & Intelligence, who will apply primary and secondary research to solve challenging problems and contextualize a variety of critical business issues. The analyst in this role will develop and present research, reputation tracking and issues reports leveraging a mix of analytics tools and research methodologies. A key to success will be communicating and presenting data-backed insights in a compelling manner to influence senior leaders and inform strategic initiatives, communications strategies, and business priorities. ResponsibilitiesSupport monitoring and reporting around key topics and event-based moments through social listening, media, and stakeholder analysis methodologiesDistill complex data into simple KPIs, data visualizations, dashboards, or scorecardsLeverage tools such as Brandwatch, Tableau, MRI, and MintelDevelop research agendas and measurement approaches in partnership with EA teams to inform business actionLeverage and integrate media monitoring and primary research to produce ad hoc and recurring reports for leadershipSpot and propose opportunities to bring deeper intelligence to the team around key audiences, issues, or the competitive landscapeMaintain knowledge of industry trends related to market and media research methodologies
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
At least 3 years of experience working in insights and analytics, market research, management consulting, or any combination of the threeAt least 3 years using media monitoring and social listening toolsAt least 3 years of working in and creating Tableau dashboard environmentsAt least 1 year using SQL for data analysis
Experience
