Job Description
Position Focus:Responsible for coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing program, including planning, organizing, staffing, and leading program activities. Reporting to the Pathways Program Director and working closely with the Director of Public School Partnerships, the Program Administrator is an integral part of a small and dedicated team. They are responsible for maintaining the infrastructure that supports departments, faculty, staff, and students across the University in developing and implementing successful, on-campus, out-of-school time programs and events for local K-12 students and families. The Administrator will be responsible for the Pathways admission process, marketing and communications, training and supervision of student employees, Pathways' events management, and the development/coordination of summer programs. Mobility, the ability to drive, and some weekend hours are required.
Responsibilities + Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to relate to people across sectors. The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with faculty, graduate students and undergraduates and also public school administrators, teachers, students and their parents. Flexibility and a sense of humor a plus.
Education
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to conceptualize steps involved in implementing programs and events as well as seeing the bigger picture.
