Job Description

Supervises and facilitates development of events, programs, and initiatives that center Herberger Institute student engagement and professional development in LA, including partnerships with industry, donors, alumni, and external stakeholders; oversee logistics, scheduling, and audience communications. Oversees evaluation of program effectiveness to develop and implement goals and objectives including improved methods of program delivery; evaluation methodology design and implementation including analysis of results and takes/recommends proper action based on outcomes. Supervise preparation of budget proposals; establishes expenditure controls and recommends allocation of resources within budget limitations.Event Coordination and OperationsPlan and manage logistics for live, virtual and hybrid events from concept to completion including pre-event logistics planning, day-of event management and post-event wrap up activitiesConsult with evet hosts to assess needs and develop recommendations/plans, including site visits, space selection, guest movement, timing, A/V capabilities, catering, rentals, insurance and permits, etc.Provide high level service to ASU departments and partners hosting events in the ASU CA Center - Grand building, including departments and partners based in Arizona and elsewhereCoordinate with onsite teams in production of meetings and events including technology, operations, facilities, securitySupervise work of student employees and volunteers staffing eventsManage scheduling of event spaces and details utilizing event management software
