Research Manager, Conflict Analysis Programs

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Conflict Analysis programs, the Program Administrator (Research Manager, Conflict Analysis Programs) supports the Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL) Faculty Director, Executive Director, and Director of Conflict Analysis Programs in managing the research aspects of relevant projects within the Humanitarian Research Lab as assigned.Research aspects may include scoping, developing, and implementing overall research program and specific research projects, as well as managing research team workload, assignments, and working with research team leads to ensure appropriate staffing and research directions.In support of the overall mission, plans, directs and oversees programmatic activities. Works closely with leadership and internal and external colleagues to further develop and implement strategic plans. Tracks all program activities and regularly informs leadership of progress on each initiative. Recommends structural or programmatic adjustments, changes or additions based on full knowledge of missions, goals, and objectives. Develops metrics to identify and measure the success of the program.

Responsibilities + Skills

Excellent written communication, both for research reports and general communication materials including web content.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
