Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Office of the Deputy Dean for Education at Yale School of Medicine, provide high-level administrative and operational support to special programs and initiatives in medical education such as the Program for Biomedical Ethics, Program for Humanities in Medicine, and the MD-MHS Program.Provide high-level administrative support for special programs in medical education. Serve as point of contact and assist with program operations including tracking student applications, engagement, and completion of requirements and summarizing data in reports. Plan and coordinate meetings and events including travel and lodging arrangements, publicity, room reservations, media services (IT/AV/Zoom), catering, and facilities. Work closely with Yale internal and external service providers. Communicate regularly with guest speakers visiting Yale. Create agendas and contact attendees. Take minutes, track action items, and review and follow-up on correspondence. Monitor expenditures, reconcile financial statements, and process payments to students for their campus jobs. Collect information and documents for both domestic and international reimbursements. Keep website and social media sites current. Flexibility to provide coverage for occasional early evening events is required.Other duties as assigned.Essential Duties

Experience
Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate's degree; or little or no work experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
