The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist - PERSEC (Personnel Security) to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This position will act as a Team Lead supporting a complex proprietary program managing employees who provide PERSEC support to ensure consistency across the entire portfolio. Position Responsibilities:Manage and ensure the flawless execution of classified security programs at the SCI, SAP and other restricted or proprietary levels and achieves all operational goals.Lead and mentor employees performing security administration activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, conducting security inquiries, overseeing compliance assessments implementation security controls protecting personnel, information and equipment.Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company program operations.Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Responsibilities + Skills
5 or more years of industrial security experience in a variety of security support capacities such as, personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and other programmatic security-related fieldAbility to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP) information, or other restricted-level access
Education
10 or more years of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience ( Bachelors degree and 4+ years in an Industrial Security role; or a Masters degree and 2+ years in an Industrial Security Role )
