Job Description:Job Summary The Study Abroad Specialist, under the direction of leadership, will support and promote global engagement and study abroad initiatives across campus and within Purdue College of Liberal Arts (CLA). Primary duties will be to assist in global engagement operational logistics through collaboration with university partners including the college business office, Study Abroad, and International Programs for a seamless user experience. This position will assist with the development of CLA study abroad programming. Responsible for planning and implementing on-campus fairs and presentations, including marketing efforts. The Specialist will also advise students on global and study abroad experiences. This position will provide coordination and support for the Director of Global and Experiential Learning at various events. The Study Abroad Specialist will represent the college with a diverse range of constituents including faculty, staff, and students as well as a wide range of universities and providers both domestic and international.

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Experience with social media is desirable.Knowledge of academic programs and majors within Purdue and the College of Liberal Arts.

Experience with Academic and Career Advising.Study abroad experience.Knowledge of undergraduate student services and marketing.
