The Medical Records Technician will be Responsible and accountable for the maintenance of paper and electronic health records. Organizes and maintains a system of files and records concerning diagnosis, treatments, admissions, and discharges. Compiles, verifies, types, and files medical records of inmates within New Jersey Department of Corrections. On an ongoing basis, enforces security and ensures the accessibility of clinical information through the chart management. Uses this knowledge to assemble records. Tracks medical records requests. Completes disability requests for information. Assists UCHC staff with the completion of any chart deficiencies.
