Job Description

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.   Position SummaryReporting to the Director, Student Financial and Accounting Services, the Assistant Director is responsible for providing information to management by assembling and summarizing financial data, preparing reports, resolution of discrepancies, analysis, and recommendations of data from Accounting & Reporting at Columbia (ARC) and the Student Information System (SIS). The Assistant Director is also responsible for the completion and review of key reconciliations, internal control monitoring, continuous improvement initiatives and direct supervision of at least one staff accountant. 

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance required.

Experience

Minimum 4-6 years related experience.
