Job Description
General Summary:As a leading technology innovator, Qualcomm pushes the boundaries of what's possible to enable next-generation experiences and drives communication and data processing transformation to help create a smarter, connected future for all. The DFT Engineer will be part of Qualcomm Austin DSP team which is responsible for implementation of DFT architectures and strategies on DSP cores. This person will work closely with RTL, Synthesis and Physical Design teams through-out the project cycle.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Minimum of 7 years industry experience in the implementation and verification of advanced DFT/DFD (Design for Test/Design for Debug) techniques for low power and multi voltage domain designs. A strong fundamental knowledge of DFT is requiredGood knowledge of ATPG with EDA Vendor compression architecturesExpertise of various fault models such as Stuck-at, Transition, Path Delay, Gate-Exhaustive, IDDQ, and Cell Aware.
Experience
Hand-on experience on scan insertion, running ATPG and gate level simulationsExperience in DFT implementation, Scan/ATPG, MBIST insertion/validation, coverage analysis.Must have hands-on experience in scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, etc.
