Job Description

The Department of Finance in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for part-time Faculty Associate positions to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the field of finance. Areas of instruction may include managerial finance, financial markets and institutions, security analysis and portfolio management, derivative financial securities, financial institutions, financial planning, personal finance, estate planning, and other special topics in finance.These positions are one semester appointments, part time, non-benefits eligible with no tenure implications, not to exceed .40 FTE. A typical Faculty Associate course load is one to two classes per semester. Teaching duties include: preparing course materials, responding to and evaluating student work, and availability for one-on-one assistance (via weekly office hours for on-campus classes and electronically for online classes). Individuals employed as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple, non-benefits eligible appointments at Arizona State University.
