The IT AI Service Owner will be at the forefront of our AI strategy, designing and implementing advanced AI solutions to solve complex business challenges supporting multiple enterprise functions. This role involves a blend of business relationship management, leadership, strategic planning, and technical expertise ensuring that our AI projects are executed successfully and align with our long-term objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management. Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company’s data, tools and information systems. Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility. Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics. Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.Product Owner or Service Management certification.Experience with Generative AI technologies and search algorithms.Deep understanding of the industry landscape, market trends and competitive dynamics of GenAI.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a product owner, with a focus on AI/ML technologies.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP and their AI/ML related services.Strong understanding of data management, data governance and data engineering principles.
