CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate and communicate well with others, as well as take ownership of independent project work when needed. They must be able to interact with student, faculty, staff and community members and maintain a welcoming, respectful and supportive environment for all in Macy studios. They will have the ability to manage their own time when working on a variety of different projects with different timelines and show attention to detail when delivering media and other work.Macy Studio FacilitationStaff open studio hours and maintain a welcoming and supportive environment to visitors and requesters of media creation support.Support video, audio and other media production in Macy Studios.Provide instruction and support for the use of software, production equipment, and other tools related to the creation of media for courses, research and other purposes in Macy Studios.

Education
The ability to work independently, and to create and meet deadlines, and to remain motivated, engaged and collegial when facing challenges and setbacks.Excellent ability to collaborate and work well with others in a variety of roles, including showing patience and care as both a mentor and learner.
Experience
Some experience or training with audio, video, and/or multimedia creation in a professional or educational capacity.Excellent communication skills.
