The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.   Position SummaryThe Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is recruiting a short term casual to work as a part of Dr. Pressley’s Columbia Center for Injury Science and Prevention (CCISP) research and outreach team. The casual will work closely with Dr. Pressley to provide technical assistance in complex multi-sourced data merging and analysis, and generate tables and figures for communication of findings.   ResponsibilitiesData merging and analysis, 80%Drafting tables and figures, 10%Assist with ongoing outreach related activities including website updates 5%Other duties as requested 5%   

Responsibilities + Skills

Education

A bachelors degree with 1-2 semesters of masters level work. Demonstrated strong data management and analysis skills working with merging and quality control for large complex data sets.The successful candidate must possess a high level of initiative, clear communication skills, and attention to detail.
