Paralegal B (contract)

Job Description

Performs research. Reviews, proofreads, collects and organizes documents and requests. Schedules witness interviews and depositions. Maintains legal management systems and document data bases. Gathers and tracks document collection in response to internal and third-party requests. Maintains and supports document retention activities. Coordinates and processes communication, correspondence and documentation with outside counsel, the responsible attorney and other personnel. Identifies and protects all oral and written communications are identified.Additional Job DescriptionPosition Responsibilities:Provide legal support under the guidance of Boeing Intellectual Property (IP) counsel within a highly matrixed organizationAct as first point of contact to assist with legal issues arising in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements and contracts (e.g., non-disclosure agreements), especially in relation to intellectual property and risk of liability.Providing initial review of non-disclosure agreements by supporting contract administrators in reviewing non-standard languageCoordinate and assist with the preparation of risk analysis memoranda in accordance with corporate policies
