Job Description
The Department of Supply Chain Management in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University is seeking applications from those interested in a Postdoctoral Research Scholar position with an anticipated start date of Fall 2025. This is a fixed-term, fiscal year (twelve-month) appointment with no tenure implications.This position is grant-funded for eighteen (18) months and may be extended for an additional six months, based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Responsibilities + Skills
Strong writing skills, presentation skills developed at conferencesSkills in advanced quantitative and empirical research methodsPossession of a research agenda in the areas of food supply chain management, grocery retail operations, or agricultural economics.
Education
The postdoctoral scholar will be funded by a National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA) grant to study the performance of food supply chains and systems. The postdoctoral scholar will be able to develop his or her own research, and develop other projects with faculty within the SCM department but the primary obligation will be to the NIFA grant objectives.
