It's up to you to make it happen.What's the role?Bloomberg's Regulatory Policy Group is dedicated to creating balanced regulation that protects investors, increases competition, and the transparency, resiliency, and stability of markets. The Regulatory Policy Group is looking to add a member with an understanding of U.S. fixed income trading protocols, U.S. fixed income market structure, FINRA TRACE and Bloomberg's fixed income electronic trading products.We are looking for a candidate to serve as a researcher to assist in Bloomberg's Government Relations and Regulatory Policy Group either in Washington DC or New York. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory and legislative developments on a wide range of issues as well as conducting research and analysis. Work may include research and writing on long-term projects, producing short, timely memos describing hearings or meetings, and conducting in-depth research on nascent financial services issues. Subject areas will be varied, but work on financial services, capital markets and environmental issues will predominate. Qualified candidates must have strong research and writing skills.

Experience
At least 3 years of relevant regulatory or government relations experience, preferably at a financial regulator, on the Hill, or working on Wall StreetKnowledge and understanding of the regulatory and policy issues surrounding financial market participants
