The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.   Position SummaryThe Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Student Research Worker to join our team in a temporary, part- time position to work within the Division of Infectious Diseases. Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s Department of Pediatrics is a world leader in providing care for children. Our mission areas include Healthcare, Education and Research. This position will support the department by providing support to Dr. Lisa Saiman with advanced data analysis on various studies in infectious diseases. ResponsibilitiesCollect and enter data into electronic database in a secure confidential manner.Analysis of large datasets for rate calculations and trends over time.Analysis of compliance with computer decision support for diagnostic stewardship.Assist PI to prepare summary reports, abstracts, and manuscripts.Participate in regular team meetings.Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.
