Job Description
Bloomberg Intelligence ("BI") is seeking a Strategy Associate to support the US Credit Strategy team. As a BI Credit Strategy Associate, the right candidate will be interested in credit markets, directly support the Chief Credit Strategist with generating and supporting insights with a mix of fundamental and quantitative approaches and help with frequent publication of research.You will have a steep learning curve with great exposure to the market experts in Bloomberg Intelligence, and you will have learning interactions with the financial markets. Sitting alongside the strategist team, you will be very close to the market, and develop a solid skillset on analysis. The analysis in your daily work will be based on the Bloomberg Indices and data sets, which will provide you a resourceful platform to apply your expertise of Excel, Python, and other data analysis skills, which will used to publish credit strategy research and host the data on the BI Credit Strategy dashboard within the Bloomberg Terminal.WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:Actively contribute to daily research activities of data analysis, written research, idea generation and client engagementInteract regularly with clients via our online messaging systems, telephone and client visitsConceptualize, construct and maintain research dashboardsHelp to identify, support and maintain critical data and functionality on the Bloomberg terminalDevelop and maintain relationships with internal and external constituenciesReview submitted research for adherence to global quality standardsParticipate in department-wide special projectsYOU NEED TO HAVE:
Responsibilities + Skills
A Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related discipline preferredData visualization Skills (PowerBI, Tableau, QSEN)
Education
Excellent written communication and presentation skills, track record of collaboration with teamDemonstrable research and analytical skillsStrong organization skills and capable of handling multiple projects
