Job Description:Job SummaryThe Assistant Technical Coordinator will serve as live event technician, operator and event technical lead. This position will assist in planning, design, construction and operation of audio, lighting, video and staging systems for Hall of Music Productions. Participate in the set up and maintenance of production systems in support of live events. Demonstrate expertise in the operation of audio, video, lighting and staging equipment related to live events. Utilize knowledge of live production equipment and systems in the execution of complex live events. Help evaluate personnel, materials and equipment needs to ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance to maximize system performance. During live performances, maintain quality and performance of all systems. Manage technical aspects of event productions and lead technical teams as necessary. Help supervise and instruct staff and students in event production methods and principles. Work with Event Production Managers and a variety of coworkers, students and clients to ensure high quality technical support.

Experience

A minimum of three (3) years of technical production workExtensive experience in technical area equipment and methodologies
