It's up to you to make it happen.What’s the role?At Bloomberg Engineering & CTO Finance, we are committed to providing extraordinary support to our business partners in Engineering, CTO, and the wider finance communities. Our activities include financial strategy, planning, management and reporting on all operating expenses, capital expenses, and people resources. As a critical member of the Engineering & CTO Finance group, you will have the opportunity to deliver a unique blend of financial and operational reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate must be detailed-oriented, motivated and possess excellent analytical, technical, financial, and operational acumen.As a Finance and Position Management Analyst, you will use corporate tools like Workday and our internal department-wide system of record to review, manage, and administer position changes, as well as to support various organizational projects, analytics and priorities.Working hands-on with key stakeholders, you'll educate and train Engineering Team Leads on self-service tools and sharing best practices to influence business and process improvements for headcount management. You’ll have the opportunity to build a network across the different Engineering departments, recruiting, and Human Resources.
Responsibilities + Skills
Demonstrated competency with advanced Excel modeling and large datasetsUse of common applications such as MS suite, Qlik, SAP-EPM/BPC/AO, Alteryx etc. with hands-on ability to implement changeAbility to handle confidential information professionally and appropriately
Education
3+ years of relevant work experience in Finance or organization managementBachelors degree required (preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field of study)
