General Summary:The Manager of Technical Accounting is a key leader of the Corporate Accounting Practices and Reporting group. This role is responsible for:Preparing and filing quarterly, annual, and other financial reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).Collaborating closely with Qualcomm’s business units and corporate functions to determine and document the proper accounting treatment of complex and/or new types of transactions.Leading projects to assist and advise business units and corporate functions on accounting for acquisitions and dispositions, implementing new accounting guidance, etc.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting and financial reporting, including 5+ years of experience in a Big Four accounting firm. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the capability to influence key organizational decisions.

Experience
3+ years in a Big Four Accounting firm.CPA Certification or country equivalent.
